2021 Jeep Wrangler Trims

One consistently great thing about the Jeep Wrangler has been its available trim options-there are always plenty to choose from for every taste and budget. For 2021, in addition to seven trims, there are also some special packages like the throwback Willys option, with eye-catching decals and tires.

If you're looking for a more affordable Wrangler, you're probably looking at the Sport and Sport S trims. If you're looking for a sleek and comfortable mid-level trim that doubles as a piece of history, we recommend the Wrangler's 80th Anniversary edition. With advanced safety features, a larger infotainment system, and trim-exclusive, standard design features, this edition offers great bang for your buck.

For the ultimate off-road and comfort experience, Jeep touts the premium Wrangler Rubicon 392 as the "quickest, most powerful Wrangler ever." With a 6.4L HEMI V8 engine, exclusive among the Wrangler lineup, this Rubicon will put all other SUVs to shame.

2021 Jeep Wrangler Powertrain Options and Capability

All Jeep Wranglers proudly wear the Trail Rated badge, meaning they can withstand a multitude of terrain and weather conditions. But the most trail-worthy Wrangler would have to be the Rubicon trim, with 33-inch all-terrain tires, a part-time Rock-Trac 4x4 system, and an Off-Road+ button coming standard.

For the 2021 Wrangler model year, Jeep is also offers four powertrain options. First, there's the legendary 3.5L Pentastar V6 that has 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft.of torque. There's also a new 3.5L Pentastar V6 with eTorque with the same horsepower and torque stats, but also slightly better gas mileage, thanks to its mild-hybrid system. Next, there's a 2.0L turbo engine with 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. Or take your off-road capability to the max with the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6, with 260 horsepower and a jaw-dropping 442 lb.-ft. of torque.

Inside the 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Jeep's iconic styling isn't all in the grille and body style. In the 2021 Wrangler model Jeep has done a great job melding its classic interior look with modern comforts and technology. Cloth seats are standard in base models, but premium leather seats with temperature control settings are also available at higher trim tiers. The cockpit and dashboard are well-designed and organized, seamlessly fitting the touchscreen infotainment system above convenient temperature control systems. The Wrangler also famously allows you to open up your interior to enjoy good weather with removable door and roof panels.
