Chrysler is the only American automaker still producing a minivan, and the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica may be the highest refinement of the minivan, offering an impressive combination of versatility, seating and cargo space, and safety and convenience features. 
 

2022 Chrysler Pacifica Seating and Cargo Room

It can be configured for 7 or 8 adults, with comfortable seating and adequate headroom and legroom in all three rows. Even with all three rows of seating utilized, there's ample space behind the third row for luggage or cargo. With the seats down, however, the cargo space increases dramatically, giving the Pacifica a functional cargo capacity comparable to a big SUV like a Chevy Suburban.
Second-row seating is slightly higher than the front row, allowing second-row passengers a good view through the windshield. Access to the third row of seating has been made easier with the Easy Tilt Seating feature, in which one lever tilts the second-row seats forward, greatly aiding passenger entry and exit. Seating for children, especially in front- or rear-facing child seats and boosters, is excellent, with easy access to LATCH anchors.

The Pacifica is all about storage and space. Besides being chockfull of cupholders, bins, drawers, pockets and other small storage spaces, there are the under-the-floor wells between the front and second rows of seats. These are part of Chrysler's Stow 'n Go system, offering generous hidden storage space with the second-row seats in place, plus allowing those seats to quickly and easily "disappear" into the floor when more interior room is needed. No other minivan has anything like it. The Stow 'n Go system is not available, however, on the hybrid models. 

The Pacifica is powered, across all trim levels (excepting hybrids) by a 3.6L V6, with a 9-speed automatic transmission. With its standard FWD powertrain it delivers up to 28 mpg on the highway, and somewhat lower fuel efficiency with available AWD. It offers a smooth ride, adequate acceleration and braking, and good visibility, with large windows and large side mirrors. The Pacifica can be equipped to tow a maximum of 3,600 lbs.

A rear camera and blind-spot monitoring are standard, as are adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and mitigation with pedestrian detection, and lane keeping and lane departure warning. A 360-degree camera is available.

One especially nice, and unique, feature available on the Pacifica is the Stow 'n Vac integral onboard vacuum cleaner. And the available seatback video system can keep passengers entertained via streaming or pre-recorded video.
